Andrea Blunt is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA, and she serves as music director, accompanist, and vocalist in several LA area choral ensembles. Her work spans stage and screen as both an artist and facilitator.
In 2025, she prepped the rehearsal score for the chamber opera “The Yellow Wallpaper” for its premiere at Carnegie Hall. In July of 2026, Blunt executive produced a first-time director’s debut short film. Community safety is deeply important to her creative practice and drives her neighborhood volunteer work as well.
Her upcoming screen composition work includes a score for the yet-to-be-released film “Bootstrapped” and original compositions for the musical “The Remnants,” book by Carolyn Guido.
